I talked to everyone from one couple who owned a bread and breakfast looking to offer their guests a more interactive lobby experience all the way to a giant waterpark investigating integrating social media content into video walls. It was also nice to connect with partners of ours who were also attending and exhibiting at the show.
Before the show started, I began tracking the #HITEC hashtag to see how much sharing and promoting were happening on Twitter. You can scroll through the graphic that follows, but it’s clear to see that Tuesday (the kickoff of the exhibition floor) was the peak of the traffic.
What was unique about this show is each day it ended one hour earlier. That could have led to the slow decline in traffic from the Tuesday high. If you were Tweeting at HITEC, what was your experience?
Here are the final numbers over the four days.
